AGM Notice

Dear Member,

Things have been very quiet since the Federal election in November last year. We currently have 121 members.

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING will be held at 6:00pm Friday 3rd October 2008 upstairs at 3CR – 21 Smith St, Fitzroy 3062 Melbourne. (The meeting will be held downstairs if members turn up to the AGM who cannot use the stairs).

NOMINATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF:

• National Convenor
• Treasurer
• Registered Officer
• Secretary

Must be lodged by 1st September 2008 and sent to P.O. Box 5035 Alphington 3078, Melbourne. Each nomination must be accompanied by membership details and signature of three party members plus written acceptance of the nominee. If more than one nomination is received for any position, a postal ballot will be held of members before the AGM to determine who has the greatest support among members.

If you don’t know three party members and wish to nominate for a position the current office holders will nominate you.
