Welcome to the Direct Democracy Not Parliamentary Rule website
In brief we are a group that wants to register as a political party so that we can generate the attention to advocate the ideas involved with direct democracy. To achieve this we need the 550 people to sign up for membership in the party before the Australian Electoral Commission will place us on the ballot.
Unlike other parties our ultimate goal is not to get a slice of the parliamentary power pie. To start with we wish to get on the ballot as a wedge to generate interest in the ideas of direct democracy.
